Director of Operations
Kathy Richburg grew up in central Florida and now resides in Fort Payne, Alabama. She is a partner with Understanding Ag, LLC and the Director of Operations for the Soil Health Academy.
Previously, Kathy worked as executive secretary for the Grassfed Exchange, and the South Poll Grass Cattle association, where her primary responsibilities included conference coordination, logistical coordination and member communications. She also served as a certified carcass ultrasound technician for 14 years.
In addition to her partnership role at Understanding Ag, Kathy coordinates with associates and staff to oversee the day-to-day business operations of the organization, including accounting, marketing, communications, meeting logistics, web and social media activities.
