Tangen Draw ranch is seeking an individual to join our team in a new role focused on
accelerating our regenerative objectives. These objectives include soil health, forage diversity
and volume, nutrition, water & carbon cycles, pollinators, wildlife & ranch ecosystem. We
envision this role will enable one individual to integrate biological science, R&D and field
implementation to accelerate ongoing improvement projects, develop new initiatives, correlate
causal relationships & document strategic ranch biology. This role will report to the ranch
manager.

Tangen Draw raises, markets and delivers cattle and bison for the best tase & nutrition. Our
ranch operational priorites include regeneration, low stress grazing, soil health, forage diversity,
ecosystem and profitability. We are committed to a culture of integrity, continuous

Objectives for this role include:
– Optimization & continuous improvement of ranch biology
– Lead soil and forage analysis and optimization initiatives
– Manage and & implement initiatives in the field
– Coordinate with ranch operations for optimal irrigation, grazing & other effects
– Measure, analyze, adapt & improve
– Track key metrics against plan
– correlate cause/effect relationships broadly across our system
– Trial and evaluate alternates for cost/benefit/effect assessments

Relevant experience includes:
– Soil biology
– Soil structure and mineral accessibility
– Regenerative agriculture
– Livestock
– Data analytics
– Research & development
– Irrigated and native range pasture optimization
– No till drill and foliar applications

Personal Characteristics:
– Honesty, integrity, work ethic, commitment, systems thinking, and execution
– Focus and commitment on safety, productivity, continuous improvement
– Ability to combine science, R&D and hands-on implementation in the field
– A dedicated interest in regenerative and nutritional agriculture optimization, data validity, and a willingness to be a team player

Compensation: To be determined based on experience. On ranch housing may be available.
