Understanding Ag is committed to the long-term success of regenerative agriculture and the farmers and ranchers who implement soil health-focused regenerative agriculture principles. We also understand that to keep the regenerative agriculture movement moving forward, future leaders must be identified, encouraged and supported. This is the primary purpose of Understanding Ag’s Future Leaders in Regenerative Ag Scholarship Program.

Rob Samuels, grandson of the founders and managing director of Maker’s Mark Distiller, has donated a cask of Maker’s Mark Private Selection Bourbon to support the Future Leaders in Regenerative Agriculture scholarship program. And with a $125 donation to the non-profit 634 Regeneration organization, you can receive a bottle of this specially crafted Kentucky straight bourbon whisky, barrel finished with 10 oak staves selected by the founders of 634 Regeneration.

We hope you’ll consider donating to the Future Leaders in Regenerative Agriculture scholarship program, and lift a glass in honor of those who are leading the way in growing healthier soil, farms, food and futures through regenerative agriculture.

Leader2 crop

To help ensure the soil health and regenerative ag movement flourishes in the years ahead, the partners at Understanding Ag recently created the Future Leaders in Regenerative Agriculture (FLRA) program which encourages individuals to seek education and professional development in the regenerative ag and leadership areas. Along with our colleagues at the non-profit Soil Health Academy, we are now working to establish a fund to support those individuals through the FLRA scholarship program.
