Join Understanding Ag for an in-field hands-on grazing event where we will help other producers use the power of observation and understanding to improve the net profitability of their operation. Topics will range from the basics of fencing to implementing adaptive stewardship grazing that should suit all levels of grazing experience. This event will drive home the importance of the 4 ecosystem processes which in turn help build resiliency into your operation as well as future and near-term economic benefits. Host farm, Dan Bonacker, Big River Grain & Cattle, LLC is a 6th generation row crop and beef cattle farm. Raising no-till/cover cropped corn, soybeans, and cereal rye. With registered Charolais cow-calf and seed stock production.
