Regenified™ was founded in 2022 by the pioneers of regenerative agriculture. Our founders are known and recognized as the leading figures and guardians for regenerative agriculture and its journey to mainstream agriculture. Our mission is to transition the world’s supply chain to regenerative agriculture by offering the most reliable standards and verification services. To date, our standards have been approved by the largest grocery chains in the world and we have been actively verifying large acres of farmland producing grains, beef, poultry, eggs, and cotton.
What You Will Do:
We are seeking a results-driven Farm Origination Manager to drive sales development efforts within Regenified’s Verification and Certification business. This role is critical to expanding the adoption of regenerative agriculture by engaging directly with farmers, ranchers, and other stakeholders to promote our certification program.
This role collaborates closely with standards & protocols, field verification, marketing and supply chain teams at Regenified and requires a deep understanding in the downstream ag sector with significant experience working with farmers and ranchers. You are expected to hold daily meetings and calls with farmers, ranchers and prospect customers interested in verification and certification; to truly understand their desires and needs and work with them to discover and understand the value of Regenified’s verification and certification to their operation.Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation and Conversion: Identify lead generation channels to identify, qualify, and convert new leads, expanding the adoption of Regenified’s verification and certification program
- End-to-End Sales Management: Own the full sales lifecycle, from initial outreach to contract signing, ensuring a smooth and customer-centric experience at every stage.
- Customer Engagement: Conduct daily meetings and calls with farmers, ranchers, and potential customers to understand their needs, communicate the value of Regenified’s certification, and build lasting relationships.
- Industry Expertise: Stay informed on regenerative agriculture trends, industry developments, and emerging opportunities to position Regenified as a trusted leader in the field.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate trust and rapport with farmers and ranchers by listening to their unique stories and identifying win-win pathways to certification.
- Advocacy and Representation: Represent Regenified in meetings and conversations with prospective customers, providing clear, accurate, and transparent information about the certification process.          Â
Who You Are:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales and building a book of business in the agricultural industry. You have a true hunter mentality to finding opportunities to bring in new clients and develop and foster long-term partnerships. You have in-depth knowledge of agricultural practices, technologies, and market dynamics and a passion for sustainable agricultural practices.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a lead development and conversion role within the upstream agricultural industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, economics, or other related degree.
Proven hands-on experiences in building a book of business in national capacity varying in deal sizes. - A great listener, we truly care about our customers and it’s important we have a clear understanding of their context and needs and how we can offer added value to them.
- Self-starter with a first principle mindset to discover the unknown and unpredictable.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; although not mandatory, start-up experience is highly desirable. - Experienced working with CRM systems, Salesforce preferred.
- Excellent presentation skills and confidence in presenting to a variety of audiences.
- Strong initiative and ability to work both autonomously and with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Results-oriented and a strong drive to meet or exceed sales targets.
What We Offer
- Competitive Compensation. The total cash compensation for this role is between $100,000 – $120,000
