Nestled between the Crazy and Bridger Mountains in the picturesque Shields Valley the 4 Diamond Ranch is looking for a Direct to Consumer Enterprise Lead to join our team.  The mission of the 4 Diamond Ranch is to produce high quality grass finished beef using innovative grazing and cattle management techniques while employing the best of traditional western ranching practices.

Overview

                This position will be responsible for the development and deployment of a new direct to consumer enterprise.  Beginning with the management of cross bred feeder cattle by implementing some new innovative feeding systems, the position will also be responsible for organizing downstream logistics to move product to retail level.  Position will also at times assist other staff with the daily operations of all production aspects of the ranch.  This is not a typical cattle/ranch position.  While animal husbandry skills are a part, it will also require project and logistics management.  It is a new position so there is potential for evolution and growth and hire will have input to help guide any changes.

Position will require:

·         Developing and executing care and feeding of program cattle

·         Project management of infrastructure development

·         Supply chain logistics

·         Work with manager and rest of team to accomplish daily operations as well as strategic objectives

·         Maintaining all necessary records and reporting to management.

·         Other duties as assigned

                   o   Facility/infrastructure maintenance

                   o   Grounds upkeep

                   o   Assist other employees as needed
