Grama Grass is looking for a reliable and professionally-minded team player to fill the position of Ranch Hand. Ideally, you are an environmentally-minded individual looking for an entry level position in agriculture.
The Ranch Hand position will assist in all aspects of the farm, such as taking inventory of our meat products, helping do chores with the animals, delivering meat orders, and generally assisting with the daily tasks around the farm. This position is split approximately 50% in the field and 50% working in the meat business. The Ranch Hand will be required to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly.
This role is located in Boulder County, Colorado. It is a full time position (40 hours/week), with an hourly wage of between $16 – $18/hour, depending on experience. As a growing business, there is opportunity to grow with this position.
Schedules change from week to week, but a typical week includes four 8-hour days and two 4-hour days (including three weekend days per month). This is a seasonal position (mid April – December 1st), though the right candidate can turn it into a year-round position.
